Remembrance Day
Members of the OWA joined with the rest of the School community for the traditional morning Service of Remembrance, with Adam Gibosn (Willows '96), Headmaster of the Prep School and Jeremy McGilpatrick (Darks '52) both reading. It was a wonderful crisp and sunny afternoon for the community service in Wellington Town Park, beginning at School and led by the Corps of Drums and the CCF. Chairwoman Caroline Heaton (Beech '83) attended on behalf of the OWA, accompany the Headmaster and other members of the community in presenting wreaths at the Town War Memorial.
A welcome glass of warm mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshments were offered to all, back at School, and the Headmaster commended all the participants for their excellent turn-out and commitment to this important annual event.
